Epic bike ride

The number of pictures does not reflect the length of this ride - we cycled to one of the schools that we work at that is approx. a 20 minute train ride away. Without the benefit of Google maps to check en route or clear signage, we went a bit off-track and ended up taking 3 hours to get there. It wasn't unpleasant though, it was a beautifully sunny day and we were cycling through some countryside. We came across this little river where children were trying to fish

When we eventually arrived at Toke, Minori (the school manager) was incredibly surprised to see that we'd cycled and also found it hilarious that it took us soooooo long to get there!
She wrote us a note to hand to the staff at the train station asking if we could take our bikes on the train rather than cycling back, but without being able to disassemble our bikes and having bike-covers, it was a no-go. Denied! Thankfully, we travelled back along the correct road and got home in an hour, much to our relief
